NEW FEATURE: 📲 Introducing the new “Boost Instagram Profile Visits” playbook

We’ve always had a “Boost Instagram Engagement” playbook - but the targeting was more oriented around driving views on an IG post, instead of driving active profile discovery & profile visits.

You can now select the type of targeting you want to apply when setting up your Boost IG campaign:

Both options work differently, and we’ve added some helpful tips right in the interface to make it easier to know when to use each playbook. 

A quick breakdown:

  • To grow mainly views on a post, use “Boost IG Post Views”

    • This is geared towards driving the most views at the lowest cost.

    • It’s not great for driving new followers - you’ll see a higher cost-per-click, and a low cost-per-view.

  • To grow profile discovery & potential followers, use “Boost IG Profile Visits”

    • This is geared towards driving profile visits at the lowest cost.

    • We recommend this for everyone, as it can drive more discovery across your page, posts, and even your link-in-bio.

By default, we target these campaigns in high engagement markets like the USA, Canada, UK, and a few other places - but you have full customization of where to drive discovery.

Target your hometown, target the places you want to tour, target the cities where you’re seeing fans resonate. Full flexibility 🫡

NEW FEATURE: đŸ“˛ Track your Instagram post stats on Symphony

We’re doubling down on our audience & content tracking tech to make campaign analysis even easier.

When you run a “Boost IG Post Views” campaign, we’ve added new analytics to let you visualize your content’s growth right from your campaign. You’ll be able to see visuals for:

  • Post Views + cost-per-view

  • Likes / comments / shares on your post over time

  • Total people reached by your post

The first but not the last feature using this tech 👀

NEW FEATURE: đŸ“ˆ Track your IG profile engagement from ads

When you run a “Boost IG Profile Visits” campaign, you’ll also be able to directly track profile growth right on Symphony:

  • Profile visits over time + cost-per-visit

  • People reached from your post + ad campaign

  • IG follower growth over time

  • Alongside our traditional ad stats like cost-per-view, cost-per-click, etc.

We’ve got a lot of ideas on how to use this content + profile engagement data to help you make more informed marketing decisions, in realtime. More on this soon ⏳

IMPROVEMENT: 📈 An all new (& prettier) campaign details UI

There’s a lot of data in Symphony, and we’ve tried hard to tie your fanbase, content, demographics, and ads data together in a seamless, easy-to-understand way.

But making things prettier always helps. We’ve rolled out a new campaign analytics interface for our IG ad based campaigns.

This is now live for both new campaigns & existing “Increase Music Streams”, “Increase Link Clicks”, “Boost IG Engagement”, and “Grow Playlist Followers” campaigns ⚡️
